Will Ourand, Esq.
Attorney
Will Ourand is honored to represent everyday consumers in meaningful cases against powerful corporations. He has successfully litigated a diverse array of cases across the country, employing novel and unique theories to win difficult battles.
Will laid the groundwork for his legal career at the Florida State University College of Law, where he graduated in the top 5%. While there, he served for two years on the Editorial Board of the Law Review, was on the Dean’s List for four consecutive semesters, and earned a scholarship for serving as a Legislative Intern to the House Education Committee. He was also honored to serve as a Research Assistant to the late Dan Markel, a nationally recognized scholar, during his 2L and 3L years.
Upon graduation, Will was honored to speak at the Third District Court of Appeal Bar Induction Ceremony due to having received one of the highest scores on the Florida Bar Exam.
Will began his legal career working for the insurance industry—writing so-called “coverage opinions” as to whether claims had to be paid under insurance policies. He hated the work and quickly grew tired of looking for loopholes to benefit powerful corporations, so he left the defense side less than a year into practice. Since then, he has dedicated his career to representing individuals and families who have suffered severe harm because of corporate wrongdoing.
